Semi Reclimet 40mg/500mg Tablet is part of a group of medicines called anti-diabetic drugs. Semi Reclimet 40mg/500mg Tablet is mainly used to prevent type 2diabetes. Type 2 diabetes is an ongoing or chronic condition that affects how your body stores and uses glucose. In type 2 diabetes, either your body does not make enough insulin or if it does make insulin, it is not able to do its work properly in your body (Insulin resistance). As a result, your blood glucose levels rise and you start to experience symptoms such as urination, thirst and hunger.  These symptoms can lead to severe complications such as skin infections, eye problems like retinopathy, nerve damage like neuropathy, diabetic foot like foot ulcer, kidney disease like Nephropathy, high blood pressure and stroke.

How It Works-

Semi Reclimet 40mg/500mg Tablet is a combination of two diabetic medications. It reduces blood glucose levels by boosting insulin levels in the pancreas. Metformin, on the other hand, works by slowing down the liver's generation of glucose, delaying glucose absorption from the intestines and increasing the body's sensitivity to insulin.

Breastfeeding

It is probably not safe to breastfeed with Semi Reclimet 40mg/500mg Tablet. There is evidence that the drug might cause harm to the baby.

Alcohol

It is unsafe to take alcohol with Semi Reclimet 40mg/500mg Tablet.

Driving

If you have too high or too low blood sugar, it could affect your ability to drive. If you experience these symptoms, don't drive.

Kidney

Semi Reclimet 40mg/500mg Tablet should be taken with caution in people with kidney disease. Semi Reclimet 40mg/500mg Tablet dosage adjustments may be required. Please consult your doctor.

Liver
