Sevcar sachet is a medicine used to treat elevated blood phosphate levels. Sevcar sachet is used in patients on dialysis for severe kidney disease. Sevcar Sachet stops phosphate absorption from the intestine and reduces blood phosphate levels.

Safety information-

Pregnancy

Sevcar sachet should be avoided during pregnancy. Although there have been few human research, animal studies have revealed some consequences on the growing baby.  Please consult your physician.

Breastfeeding

It is safe to breastfeed with Sevcar sachet. According to human studies, the drug does not enter the breast milk in large amounts and is not harmful for the baby.

Alcohol

It is not known whether it is safe or not to take alcohol with Sevcar sachet.

Driving

It is unknown whether it is safe or not Sevcar sachet in terms of driving.

Kidney

It's totally safe for people with kidney disease to take Sevcar sachet. You don't need to change your dose.

Liver 

Sevcar sachet is most likely safe for use in people with liver issue. Due to limited data available, dose adjustments may not be necessary in patients with liver disease. Please consult to your physician.
