Sgltd 10Mg Tablet is an anti-diabetic medication that is primarily used for the management and treatment of type 2 diabetes. Type 2 diabetes is a disease in which there is either less insulin or the present insulin is not efficiently used by our body cells in order to decrease high blood glucose levels. It is the most prevalent kind of diabetes, accounting for approximately 90% of all diabetes diagnoses in middle-aged persons. How it works-

Sgltd 10Mg Tablet is a sodium-glucose cotransporter-2 (SGLT2) inhibitor that is used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes. It reduces blood sugar levels by inhibiting the function of SGLT-2 in the kidney and excretes excess sugar through urine.

Safety information-

Pregnancy

Sgltd 10Mg Tablet is may not safe to use in pregnancy. There are limited human studies, but animal studies have shown adverse effects on the developing baby. Consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding

It is probably not safe to breastfeed while taking Sgltd 10Mg Tablet. There is limited human data suggesting that the drug may enter breast milk and cause harm to the baby.

Alcohol

It is unsafe to take alcohol with Sgltd 10Mg Tablet.

Driving

If you have too high or too low blood sugar, it could affect your ability to drive. If you experience these symptoms, don't drive.

Kidney

Sgltd 10Mg Tablet is probably not safe for kidney disease patients. Consult your doctor for more details.

Liver

Sgltd 10Mg Tablet is safe for liver patients. Dose adjustment not required.
