Sgltr M Tablet is an anti-diabetic medications used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus in addition to diet and exercise. Type 2 diabetes is often referred to as non-insulin-dependent diabetes or adult-onset diabetes. Type 2 diabetes is a medical disorder characterized by elevated blood glucose levels caused by insulin insufficiency, insulin resistance, or both.

How it works-

Sgltr M Tablet is a combination of two diabetes medications. Remogliflozin Etabonate is a diabetes medicine (sodium glucose-dependent renal transporter 2). It works by eliminating extra sugar from your body through urine. Metformin is another anti-diabetic drug (biguanide). It works by decreasing glucose synthesis in the liver, slowing sugar (glucose) absorption from the intestines, and improving the body's sensitivity to insulin. This is how it works to manage blood sugar levels and treat diabetes.

Safety information-

Pregnancy

Sgltr M Tablet is probably not safe to use in pregnancy. There are limited human studies, but animal studies have shown adverse effects on the developing baby. Consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding

It is probably not safe to breastfeed while taking Sgltr M Tablet. There is limited human data suggesting that the drug may enter breast milk and cause harm to the baby.

Alcohol

It is unsafe to take alcohol with Sgltr M Tablet.

Driving

If you have too high or too low blood sugar, it could affect your ability to drive. If you experience these symptoms, don't drive.

Kidney
