Silverex Ionic Gel belongs to the class of medicines called antiseptics that helps treat cuts, burns, and wounds. It helps prevent infections on the wounds. 

You should use Silverex Ionic Gel as prescribed by your doctor. This medicine may cause side effects such as irritation, staining of the skin,  rashes or burning sensation at the site of application. Make sure to consult your doctor if these side effects do not go away. 

Inform your doctor if you are allergic to Silverex Ionic Gel or any other medicines. Tell your doctor before taking Silverex Ionic Gel if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Avoid contact with clothes as it may cause staining.

Usage Instructions

You should use Silverex Ionic Gel as directed by your doctor. It is recommended to apply a small amount of Silverex Ionic Gel on the affected area. This gel is for external use only. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, or nose. Make sure to wash your hands before and after using Silverex Ionic Gel

How It Works

Silverex Ionic Gel belongs to the drug class known as antiseptics that helps treat cuts, burns, and wounds. It helps prevent infections in the wounds. Silverex Ionic Gel contains two antiseptics, silver nitrate and ethyl alcohol. Silver nitrate consists of both antiseptic and antimicrobial properties. It helps release silver ions into the skin that eliminates or inhibits the growth of microorganisms. Ethyl alcohol works by eliminating microorganisms on the skin and preventing infection.

ALCOHOL

It is unknown whether alcohol interacts with Silverex Ionic Gel. Consult your doctor before drinking alcohol while using Silverex Ionic Gel.

DRIVING

Silverex Ionic Gel does not usually affect your driving ability.

PREGNANCY

It is recommended to consult a doctor before using Silverex Ionic Gel if you are pregnant or planning a pregnancy.

BREASTFEEDING

It is not known whether Silverex Ionic Gel passes through breast milk. Consult your doctor before taking Silverex Ionic Gel if you are breastfeeding.
