Take Sompraz L Capsule SR without food as prescribed by the doctor. The common side effects of this medicine include diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, flatulence, constipation, and headache. Most of these side effects may fade over time. However, make sure to consult your doctor immediately if these side effects bother you. Drinking alcohol should be avoided as this medicine can make your sleepiness worse. This medicine may cause sleepiness, so avoid driving or doing anything that requires mental focus.

How It Works

Sompraz L Capsule SR contains two drugs, levosulpiride and esomeprazole. Levosulpiride is a prokinetic that works by increasing acetylcholine release. This helps to increase stomach and intestine movement and prevents reflux. Esomeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor that reduces the amount of stomach acid produced, thereby alleviating acid-related indigestion and ulcers.
