Tampil D 0.4Mg/0.5Mg Capsule is a combination medicine that contains a 'urinary bladder relaxant' medication that is primarily used to treat an enlarged prostate gland. In males, benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarged prostate gland) is a non-cancerous enlargement of the prostate gland caused by an excess of the hormone dihydrotestosterone. As the gland grows in size, it can cause urinary issues such as difficulties passing urine and frequent urination. Tampil D 0.4Mg/0.5Mg Capsule helps in the prevention of these symptoms. Tampil D 0.4Mg/0.5Mg Capsule also does not treat prostate cancer.

How it works-

Tampil D 0.4Mg/0.5Mg Capsule is a combination of Tamsulosin (alpha-blockers) and Dutasteride (5-alpha reductase inhibitor) used to treat enlarged prostate glands. Dutasteride reduces the synthesis of dihydrotestosterone hormone, resulting in a reduction in prostate size and, as a result, relief of symptoms. The relaxation of the muscles in the gland responsible for producing urine is facilitated by the presence of tamsulosin. Both of them work together to alleviate the symptoms of Benign Hyperplasia Prostate (BPH).
