A combination drug called Tamsukem D 0.4Mg/0.5Mg Tablet contains a "Urinary Bladder Relaxant," which is primarily used to treat enlargement of the prostate gland. A non-cancerous growth of the prostate gland in males is known as benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarged prostate gland), which is brought on by an excess of the hormone dihydrotestosterone. Growing the gland might result in urinary issues including difficult urination and frequent urine. These symptoms are alleviated with Tamsukem D 0.4Mg/0.5Mg Tablet. Tamsukem D 0.4Mg/0.5Mg Tablet do not treat prostate cancer, either.

How it works-
The medication Tamsukem D 0.4mg/0.5mg Tablet, which contains the active ingredients Tamsulosin and Dutasteride, is used to treat the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia. An alpha-blocker is tamsulosin. In order to facilitate the simple flow of urine, it acts by relaxing the muscles around the prostate gland and bladder exit. Dutasteride, a 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor, aids in prostate gland reduction by lowering the level of the hormone that promotes prostate gland growth.

In order to treat an enlarged prostate gland, Tamsukem D 0.4Mg/0.5Mg Tablet principally comprises Dutasteride (5-alpha reductase inhibitor) and Tamsulosin (alpha-blockers). Growing the gland can lead to urinary issues including frequent urges to pee and trouble urinating. Dutasteride lowers dihydrotestosterone production, which results in a smaller prostate and symptom-relieving reduction in size. This will lessen the possibility of acute urinary retention and the requirement for surgery. By calming the gland's muscles, tamsulosin facilitates the passage of urine. Both reduce BPH symptoms when used together.
