Temsan 40 Tablet is used to treat people with hypertension (high blood pressure). Temsan 40 Tablet is further used to lower the risk of heart attack or stroke in adults. Essential hypertension is a medical disorder in which the arteries' blood pressure is chronically raised but for no apparent reason. However, obstructed blood flow to the heart or brain causes a heart attack or stroke, respectively.

How it works-

Temsan 40 Tablet is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). By preventing the activity of a substance that typically tightens blood vessels, it relaxes blood vessels. Because of the reduced blood pressure, the heart can pump more effectively and blood can go to the other organs more easily.
