Texid Tablet is used to treat diseases or situations that cause excessive bleeding from the body, such as menstruation (periods), surgical procedures, nosebleeds, and internal bleeding. The active drug is Tranexamic acid, which belongs to the antifibrinolytic class of medicines. Texid Tablet prevents the disintegration of clots, resulting in the cessation of bleeding. Texid Tablet should be taken exactly as instructed by your doctor, at the doses and period specified. Take a Texid Tablet with meals to prevent stomach discomfort. Some typical adverse effects of Texid Tablet include nausea and vomiting, however not everyone has them. These side effects usually go away over time, however, if you feel the unwanted effects please consult your doctor.

How it works-
Texid Tablet includes Tranexamic acid, an 'anti-fibrinolytic drug'. It works by controlling the breakdown of blood clots in your body. It inhibits the production and activity of plasmin, an enzyme required for the breaking of blood clots. This effect slows down irregular bleeding.
