How it works-
Tobastar F Eye Drop is a mixture of two medications: tobramycin and fluorometholone. Tobramycin is an antibiotic. Fluorometholone is a steroid that inhibits the formation of specific chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that cause the eyes to become red, and inflamed, and cause itching.

Tobastar F Eye Drop includes Tobramycin and Fluorometholone, which are used to treat bacterial eye infections. Tobramycin is an antibiotic that prevents the creation of critical proteins required for bacteria to grow, proliferate, and multiply in number. As a result, bacteria are destroyed. Fluorometholone is a corticosteroid that blocks the production of specific chemical messengers in the body that induce redness, itching, and swelling. As a result, the redness and swelling produced by bacterial infections are reduced.
