Tofacitinib, an antirheumatic drug, is a component of the Tofe ER Tablet. It is used to treat psoriatic arthritis, ulcerative colitis, ankylosing spondylitis, and rheumatoid arthritis (chronic inflammatory diseases that affect the joints and cause pain and swelling). Additionally, juvenile psoriatic arthritis and polyarticular juvenile idiopathic arthritis, which both cause swelling and discomfort in the joints in youngsters, are treated with Tofe ER Tablet. The Tofe ER Tablet can be used by itself or in conjunction with other drugs like methotrexate.

How it works-

An inhibitor of Janus kinase is Tofe ER Tablet. It functions by inhibiting the activity of the Janus kinase enzyme. In rheumatoid arthritis, this lessens joint damage and inflammation.
