Toff DC Tablet is a cough and cold preparations drug that is primarily used to treat dry cough. The body uses coughing—whether dry or productive—to clear the airways of allergens and prevent infection. There are two categories of coughs: chesty and dry coughs. A tickly cough produces no vicious or thick mucus, but a chesty cough (wet cough) produces mucous or phlegm to assist in clearing your airways.
Usage instructions-
- Toff DC Tablet is used as directed by your doctor. With food or without, you can take a Toff DC Tablet.
How it works-
Toff DC Tablet is a mixture of three drugs that treat dry cough: phenylephrine, chlorpheniramine maleate, and dextromethorphan hydrobromide. Phenylephrine is a decongestant that narrows the tiny blood vessels in the nose, relieving congestion or stuffiness. Chlorpheniramine Maleate is an antiallergy medication that alleviates allergy symptoms such as runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing. Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide is a cough suppressant that reduces cough by decreasing cough center activity in the brain.

Toff DC Tablet is a combination medicine that belongs to the pharmaceutical class known as 'cough and cold preparations' and is primarily used to treat dry cough. Chlorpheniramine acts by inhibiting the effect of histamine, a chemical that causes allergic responses. Toff DC Tablet alleviates allergy symptoms including sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes, itching, edema, congestion, and stiffness. Phenylephrine is a 'decongestant' that helps to reduce the blood vessels in the nasal tube, decreasing stuffiness. Dextromethorphan works by preventing nerve impulses from being sent from the cough center in the brain to the muscles that cause coughing. As a result, the Toff DC Tablet aids in the relief of general cough, cold, and allergy symptoms.
