How it works-
Toff MD Tablet is a combination of three drugs that treat dry cough: Phenylephrine, Chlorpheniramine maleate, and Dextromethorphan hydrobromide. Phenylephrine is a decongestant that works by constricting the tiny blood vessels in the nose, relieving congestion and stuffiness. Chlorpheniramine Maleate is an antiallergic medication that improves allergy symptoms such as runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing. Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide is a cough suppressant that reduces cough by decreasing the activity of the cough center in the brain.

Toff MD Tablet is a combination medicine that belongs to the pharmaceutical class known as 'cough and cold preparations' and is primarily used to treat dry cough. Chlorpheniramine acts by inhibiting the effect of histamine, a chemical that causes allergic responses. It alleviates allergy symptoms including sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes, itching, edema, congestion, and stiffness. Phenylephrine is a 'decongestant' that helps to reduce the blood vessels in the nasal tube, decreasing stuffiness. Dextromethorphan works by preventing nerve impulses from being sent from the cough center in the brain to the muscles that cause coughing. As a result, the Toff MD Tablet aids in the relief of general cough, cold, and allergic symptoms.
