- Tolkem D 150Mg/50Mg Tablet is a member of the medication class known as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicines (NSAIDs), also known as painkillers.
- Diclofenac and Tolperisone are the two medications included in Tolkem D 150Mg/50Mg Tablet.
- Tolperisone is a skeletal muscle relaxant, whereas Diclofenac is an analgesic (NSAID).
- Diclofenac functions by inhibiting the production of prostaglandin (PG), a chemical messenger produced by the cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzyme in your body.
- Less PGs are created as a result of the COX enzymes' impact being blocked, which lessens mild to moderate pain and edema at the wounded or damaged place.
