Coughing can be dry or productive is the body's mechanism of removing irritants from the airways and avoiding illness. Coughs are divided into two types one is dry cough and other is chesty cough. A tickly cough generates no nasty or thick mucus, but a chesty cough (wet cough) produces mucous or phlegm.
Usage instructions-
- Take the Topex DX Cough Syrup according to your doctor’s instructions. With food or without, you can take Topex DX Cough Syrup. Before use shake the bottle well.
How it works-
Topex DX Cough Syrup contains two medications: Chlorpheniramine maleate (antihistamine) and Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide (cough suppressant). Chlorpheniramine maleate is an antihistamine or anti-allergic medication that acts by preventing the activity of histamine, a chemical that causes allergic responses. It relieves allergy symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes, itching, edema, congestion, and stiffness. Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide is a cough suppressant that works by blocking nerve impulses from the cough center in the brain to the muscles that generate cough. As a result, Topex DX Cough Syrup works together to reduce cough, cold, and allergy symptoms.
