Cough medicine is Torex Syrup. Torex, also known as diphenhydramine, ammonium chloride, and sodium citrate, is a mixture of these three medications. Torex cough syrup is used to lessen cough brought on by sputum that is too viscous. It lessens congestion, watery eyes, coughing, and runny or stuffy nose. Combining this medicine with allergy medications or medications for mental illnesses is not advised. If you have glaucoma, prostate, liver, or kidney issues, use this medication with care.

How it works-
Diphenhydramine, ammonium chloride, turpentine hydrate, and sodium citrate are the four medications included in Torex Cough Syrup, which is a cough suppressant. Antihistamine diphenhydramine relieves allergy symptoms like congested nose, watery eyes, and sneezing. Expectorants like ammonium chloride and terpine hydrate lessen the stickiness of mucus (phlegm) and aid in clearing the lungs of it.
