Triopil 2 Tablet SR is a member of the class of medications known as "antidiabetic agents" that are used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus. Type 2 diabetes mellitus is a chronic or lifelong disorder marked by elevated blood sugar or glucose levels. It happens when the body does not create enough insulin, or if it does, it does not function correctly in the body (to metabolise glucose).
Usage instructions-
- Use as directed by your doctor.
How It Works-
Glimepiride, Metformin, and Pioglitazone are the three anti-diabetic drugs included in Triopil 2 Tablet SR. When single or dual treatment is ineffective, they function through several ways to offer improved blood sugar management. A sulfonylurea called glimepiride lowers blood sugar by increasing the amount of insulin the pancreas releases. It is a biguanide, metformin. It functions by decreasing the liver's synthesis of glucose, slowing the intestines' absorption of glucose, and raising the body's sensitivity to insulin. Thiazolidinedione pioglitazone improves insulin sensitivity even further.
