Tusq-X Expectorant Syrup helps treat wet cough in children. This medicine helps in thinning the mucus by increasing its water content, relieving throat irritation, and clearing congestion that enables easy breathing in your child.
You can give Tusq-X Expectorant Syrup to your child with or without food. Make sure to give it with food to decrease the chances of stomach upset. This medicine may cause side effects such as stomach discomfort, headache, fatigue, nausea, dizziness, excessive salivation, diarrhea, vomiting, tremors, rash, irregular heartbeat, and numbness or tingling sensation in the hands or feet.
It is recommended to tell the doctor about your child’s complete medical history including any previous episode of respiratory illness, allergy, blood disorders, heart problems, airway obstruction, birth defects, lung anomaly, liver impairment, sinus issues, and kidney malfunction.
Usage Instructions
Take Tusq-X Expectorant Syrup as prescribed by your doctor. Make sure to measure the syrup with a measuring cup and take it orally. You may Tusq-X Expectorant Syrup with or without food at a fixed time.
How It Works
Tusq-X Expectorant Syrup contains three active ingredients. Ambroxol is a mucolytic that thins and loosens mucus to make coughing easier. Guaifenesin is an expectorant that reduces mucus stickiness and aids in its removal from the airways. Terbutaline is a bronchodilator that relaxes and widens the airway muscles.
