The antacid and anti-ulcer medication class includes Ulgel Tablet Saunf, which is intended to treat acidity, bloating, indigestion, heartburn, and gas. A mucous layer generally shields the stomach from acid. The mucous layer can sometimes be damaged by excessive acid production, which can result in issues including acidity and heartburn. When the stomach is overfilled with gas or air, flatulence ensues.

How it works-
Magaldrate and simethicone are the two medications included in Ulgel Tablet Saunf. Magaldrate, an inorganic salt, regulates the excess stomach acid. Simethicone is an antifoaming medication that breaks down gas bubbles and facilitates simple gas transit.

- The Ulgel Tablet Saunf is a member of the antacid, or anti-ulcer, medication class used to treat acid reflux, bloating, indigestion, heartburn and gas.
- Magaldrate, an antacid, and simethicone, an anti-flatulent, are both included in Ulgel Tablet Saunf.
- Magaldrate reduces excessive stomach acid to produce its effects.
- A mixture of silica gel and dimethicone is known as simethicone. Dimethicone active is another name for it.
- Simethicone functions by lowering the surface tension of gas bubbles, which makes it easier for gas to be expelled by flatulence or belching (eruption).
- Additionally, it stops the digestive tract's gas from building up and accumulating.
