Vildanat M 500Mg/50Mg Tablet is an anti-diabetic combination medicine containing Vildagliptin (DPP-4 inhibitor) and Metformin (Biguanides). Type 2 diabetes mellitus was previously referred to as 'non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (NIDDM)' or 'maturity-onset diabetes. Type 2 diabetes occurs when the body does not create enough insulin or when insulin does not function properly. It can also arise if the body generates an excessive amount of glucagon. Insulin is a chemical that helps to reduce blood sugar levels, particularly after meals. Vildanat M 500Mg/50Mg Tablet is another drug that stimulates the liver's synthesis of sugar, causing blood sugar levels to increase. Both of these chemicals are produced by the pancreas.
