Vonavir Tablet belongs to a group of anti-retroviral drugs. These drugs are used to manage HIV infection, which is caused by a virus that infects the immune system. The virus is transmitted through bodily fluids such as sperm, vaginal fluids, and blood, resulting in weakened immunity. Symptoms of HIV infection can range from fever to chills, and may include rash, sweats, muscle pain, fatigue, and a sore throat. These symptoms typically last for a few days to a few weeks.
Usage instructions-
- Make sure you take Vonavir Tablet in the amount and for as long as your doctor tells you to.
How it works-
Emtricitabine, Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate, and Efavirenz are the three antiviral medications included in Vonavir Tablet. They function by halting the spread of the HIV (virus), therefore lowering the level of the virus in your body. They also increase the quantity of CD4 cells, which are white blood cells that fight infection, in your blood.

Antiretroviral treatment (ART) is a category of medications that includes Vonavir Tablet. Efavirenz, Emtricitabine, and Tenofovir are the active drugs of the fixed-dose combination (FDC) known as Vonavir Tablet. As the HIV virus is prone to developing drug resistance, FDC aids in minimising drug resistance (limiting the efficacy of medications). Effectively reducing symptoms, managing the infection, and preventing opportunistic infections are all made possible with Vonavir Tablet. Additionally, it aids in raising the quality of life for HIV patients.
