Antihistamine chlorpheniramine relieves allergy symptoms like congested nose, watery eyes, and sneezing. A decongestant, phenylephrine causes the tiny blood vessels to constrict, clearing nasal congestion or stuffiness. Analgesic and antipyretic, respectively, paracetamol that fever reducer. - The 60 ml of Wikoryl American Ice Cream Suspension contains three different medications: paracetamol, phenylephrine, and chlorpheniramine.
- A mild analgesic and antipyretic paracetamol acts by preventing the synthesis of prostaglandins, which are chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and fever.
- One type of decongestant that acts by constricting and narrowing blood vessels is phenylephrine.
- As a result, congestion is relieved and mucus formation is reduced. Chlorpheniramine is an antihistamine that functions by preventing the action of histamine, a chemical that is in charge of triggering allergic responses.
- It assists in easing allergy-related symptoms like sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes, itching, swelling, congestion, and discomfort.
