Xpect LS Expectorant is a member of the group of medications known as "expectorants," which are typically used to treat coughs that are mucus-related. The body uses a cough, whether it is productive or dry, to eliminate irritants from the airways and guard against infection. The two types of cough are dry cough and chesty cough. A chesty cough (wet cough) generates mucus or sputum while being ticklish and producing no thick, cloudy mucus.
Usage instructions-
- Read the pack carefully and use as directed by your doctor.
How it works-
Ambroxol, levosalbutamol, and guaifenesin are the three medications that make up a Xpect LS Expectorant, which relieves coughing up phlegm. A mucolytic called ambroxol thins and loosens phlegm, making it easier to cough up. A bronchodilator is levosalbutamol. By relaxing the airway muscles and widening the airways, it facilitates breathing. Guaifenesin, an expectorant, helps to evacuate the airways of mucus (phlegm) by reducing its stickiness. Together, they make breathing easier.

Xpect LS Expectorant prevents a cough that is producing mucus. By aiding in its lubrication, thick mucus is made easier to cough out. This facilitates breathing and lessens coughing episodes. Additionally, Xpect LS Expectorant will relieve allergy-related symptoms like watery eyes, sneezing, runny nose, and throat discomfort. Drink plenty of warm water, gargle with warm salt water, and take your medications to help you feel better.
