Zadonase Tablets are a member of the "anti-allergic" drug class, which is generally used to treat allergy symptoms including sneezing, runny nose, nasal congestion, stuffy nose, or watery eyes. When your immune system reacts to a foreign chemical that is typically safe for your body, it might cause an allergy. 'Allergens' are these alien chemicals. Some people may have dietary allergies as well as seasonal allergies like hay fever, pollen, or pet dander. One of the most common signs of allergies is coughing, which occurs in the throat as a reflex response when mucus or another external irritant enters the respiratory system.
Usage instructions-
- Read the pack carefully and use as directed by your doctor.
How It Works-
A leukotriene antagonist, montelukast. What actually functions a chemical messenger called leukotriene. This lessens edema and inflammation in the nose and airways, which alleviates symptoms. Fexofenadine is an antiallergic that prevents the other chemical messenger (histamine) in the body that causes runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing from doing its work.
- The two medications Montelukast and Fexofenadine are combined as Zadonase Tablet.
- Leukotriene receptor antagonists like montelukast prevent the activity of substances called leukotrienes from the lungs from inflaming (swelling), increasing mucus production, and constricting airways therefore lowering inflammation, mucus production, and airway constriction.
- Fexofenadine is an antihistamine, which prevents histamine, the chemical that causes allergic responses, from acting.
- It assists in easing allergy symptoms including itching, swelling, congestion, and sneezing as well as runny nose, watery eyes, and other similar ones.
