It is used to treat dry cough, allergic cough, post-operative cough, smoker's cough, and nocturnal cough. It is also used to treat colds and sneezing. It is also used to treat upper respiratory allergens like hay fever, which cause symptoms like runny nostrils, itchy, watery eyes, and throat itching.

How it works-

Zedex Cough Syrup is a combination of two medications that relieve dry cough one is chlorpheniramine maleate and other one is dextromethorphan hydrobromide. Chlorpheniramine Maleate is an antiallergic medication that works by inhibiting the affect of the chemical messenger histamine. Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide is a cough suppressant that works by decreasing cough center activity in the brain.
