Zilarta 40 Tablet includes the antihypertensive 'Azilsartan medoxomil'. It is used to prevent high blood pressure. It is an angiotensin-II receptor blocker (ARB) that inhibits the hormone angiotensin. Angiotensin narrows blood arteries, raising blood pressure; hence, inhibiting angiotensin can open restricted blood vessels. This impact helps blood to flow more easily through the blood vessels, lowering blood pressure.
