Zocef CV 500 Tablet treat Lyme disease, septicemia (bloodstream infection), meningitis (inflammation of the brain and spinal cord), lower respiratory tract, skin, urinary tract, bone and joint infection., as well as other bacterial infections like pharyngitis/tonsillitis (throat infection), otitis media (ear infection), sinusitis (sinus infection), and gonorrhoea (sexually transmitted disease).

The formation of the bacterial cell wall, which is necessary for their survival, is inhibited by cefuroxime germs are killed as a result. Clavulanic acid acts by lowering bacterial resistance and boosting cefuroxime's effectiveness against bacteria.
