The primary usage of Zylopred Opthalmic Suspension an ocular medication with antibiotic and corticosteroid ingredients, is to treat bacterial infections, such as conjunctivitis/pink eye. Additionally, it lowers the chance that post-operative patients may develop eye infections such conjunctivitis (inflammation of the conjunctiva) and other eye inflammatory disorders (cornea, iris, and connective tissue). Bacteria can enter the eyeball or its surrounding tissues, including the cornea (the transparent front surface of the eye) and conjunctiva (the thin membrane covering the outer eye and inner eyelids), resulting in bacterial eye infections. Eye infections caused by bacteria can cause redness, discomfort, swelling, watering, itching, and impaired vision.

How It Works-
