Zyloric Tablet helps treat and prevent gout. Gout is caused by an excess of uric acid in your body, which forms crystals that can cause pain around your joints and kidneys. This medication helps in the reduction of uric acid levels. It also helps treat kidney stones and bladder stones.

You should take Zyloric Tablet after food. You should keep taking it as prescribed by your doctor even if you are not having a gout attack. If you stop, more crystals may start to form in your joints and kidneys, which could worsen your symptoms.

The common side effects of this medicine include rash, nausea, and diarrhea. Consult your doctor immediately if you get symptoms of liver disease including nausea that does not stop, yellowing skin or eyes, or dark urine.

Before taking this medication, inform your doctor if you have or have had heart failure, heart problems, stroke, kidney or liver disease, or thyroid problems. Zyloric Tablet should not be taken if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Consult your doctor. Regular blood tests will be required to ensure that your liver is functioning properly.

Usage Instructions

Take Zyloric Tablet as prescribed by your doctor. Make sure to swallow the whole tablet without chewing, crushing, or breaking it. You can take Zyloric Tablet with food. 

How It Works

Zyloric Tablet is a xanthine oxidase inhibitor. It works by lowering blood uric acid, which is the chemical that causes gout. It prevents the formation of uric acid within the body while not interfering with the essential mechanisms of cells and the body.

Safety Instructions- 

ALCOHOL

It is advised to take caution when drinking alcohol with Zyloric Tablet.

DRIVING

It is not safe to drive while using Zyloric Tablet as it could affect your driving ability. You may experience dizziness, drowsiness, ataxia, vertigo, and visual disturbances when taking Zyloric Tablet.

PREGNANCY

Zyloric Tablet may not be safe to use during pregnancy as it may cause harmful effects on the developing baby.

BREASTFEEDING

It is safe to use Zyloric Tablet during breastfeeding as it may not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and does not cause any harm to the baby.
