Cipladine Ointment is a first-aid antiseptic ointment intended to prevent infection in small wounds, cuts, scrapes, burns, and abrasions. Cipladine Ointment can be used to disinfect the skin before and after surgery, to apply wound dressings, and to treat decubitus ulcers (pressure sores). Cipladine Ointment contains Povidone iodine as an active component to help prevent wound infection.
Povidone iodine is a broad-spectrum antiseptic that penetrates microbes and oxidizes proteins, nucleotides, and fatty acids, resulting in microbial death. Cipladine Ointment is effective against a wide spectrum of microorganisms that cause illness, including bacteria, fungi, protozoa, and viruses.
Usage instructions-

How it works-
Cipladine Ointment acts by blocking the development of bacteria that cause infections. Iodine in Cipladine Ointment is a tiny chemical that can readily enter bacteria and oxidize vital proteins, nucleotides, and fatty acids, resulting in cell death.
