Duphalac Solution belongs to a class of drugs known as laxatives that helps treat constipation. It facilitates bowel movement by drawing water into the bowel. It also helps treat hepatic encephalopathy. 

You can take Duphalac Solution with or without food as prescribed by your doctor. This medicine works within 48 hours, so make sure to consult your doctor if you are still constipated after 3 days.

The common side effects of this medicine include nausea and vomiting. People may occasionally experience serious side effects including electrolyte imbalance and severe diarrhea. 

It is recommended to inform your doctor if you are unable to digest milk sugar or if you have diabetes. If you use this medication for a longer period of time, you might need to have periodic blood tests to monitor your mineral levels. Avoid taking other laxatives while taking this medicine. Make sure to check with your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding while taking this medicine.

Usage Instructions

Take Duphalac Solution as prescribed by your doctor. You should take this solution by mouth after measuring it with a measuring cup. Take Duphalac Solution 150 ml with or without food at a fixed time.
