Emeset 4 Tablet belongs to a class of drugs called antiemetics that helps control nausea and vomiting that occurs due to certain medical conditions such as stomach upset. It helps prevent nausea and vomiting that occurs due to any surgery, radiotherapy, or cancer drug therapy.

Emeset 4 Tablet may be used alone or along with other medicines. You may take Emeset 4 Tablet with or without food. It is recommended to take the first dose before the beginning of the surgery, radiotherapy, or chemotherapy. You need to take any further doses as advised by your doctor after these treatments. 

Emeset 4 Tablet does not relieve other side effects related to cancer treatments. The common side effects of this medicine include diarrhea, constipation, headache, and feeling tired. These symptoms should go away when you stop taking the medicine.

Inform your doctor if you have heart or liver problems or a blockage in your stomach or intestines before taking this medicine. Make sure to inform your doctor about any other medicines you are taking, especially medicines to treat heart problems, cancer, epilepsy, and depression. Make sure to ask your doctor for advice if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Usage Instructions

Take Emeset 4 Tablet as prescribed by your doctor. Make sure to swallow the whole tablet without crushing, chewing, or breaking it. You can take Emeset 4 Tablet with or without food at a fixed time.

Emeset 4 Tablet is an antiemetic drug that works by blocking the chemical messenger’s action in the brain which is responsible for nausea and vomiting during chemotherapy or after surgery.

Drinking alcohol with Emeset 4 Tablet does not cause any harmful side effects.

DRIVING

Emeset 4 Tablet does not affect your driving ability.

PREGNANCY

Emeset 4 Tablet is considered safe to use during pregnancy. This medicine may cause low or no adverse effects on the developing baby.

BREASTFEEDING

Emeset 4 Tablet is safe to use during breastfeeding. The drug does not cause any significant harm to the baby.
