Infen Gel

Infen Gel is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicine (NSAID) that is used to treat moderate to severe pain in disorders such as osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Osteoarthritis is a degenerative joint condition that causes the two ends of the joints to come together owing to the destruction of a cartilage protective coating.

How it works-

Infen Gel is an NSAID (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medication). It acts by inhibiting the release of chemical messengers responsible for heat, discomfort, and inflammation (redness and swelling).

Safety information-

Breastfeeding

It is safe to breastfeed with Infen Gel. According to human studies, the drug does not enter the breast milk in large amounts and is not harmful for the baby.

The baby's skin should not come into close touch with the treated area of skin. Water-miscible creams/gels are suggested since licking may expose the infant to the adverse effects of Infen Gel.
