MYCODERM C POWDER 100 gm is primarily used to treat fungal infections such as ringworm, dhobi itch/jock itch, and athlete's foot. It also protects against fungal infection caused by perspiration/excessive sweating. A fungal infection occurs when a fungus invades and affects skin tissue.
Salicylic acid, Benzoic acid, Menthol, and Starch make up MYCODERM C POWDER 100 gm. Salicylic acid is an anti-inflammatory and antibacterial agent that can be applied topically. It is a keratolytic medicine that dissolves keratin clumps, removes dead skin cells, and softens the skin. Benzoic acid is a fungistatic/antiseptic agent that inhibits fungi growth. Menthol is a soothing agent that provides a cooling sensation to relieve irritation and itching. Starch acts as a skin protectant and moisturiser.
