Swiftolac Syrup is a laxative, which is a type of medication that treats constipation. Swiftolac Syrup is also prescribed to treat hepatic encephalopathy. Constipation is defined as infrequent bowel motions in which the stools are often dry, uncomfortable, and difficult to pass. Hepatic encephalopathy is a liver disorder that causes the buildup of harmful chemicals in the circulation which are typically eliminated by the liver.
Usage instructions-
- Take Swiftolac Syrup according to your doctor’s instructions. With meals or without meals, you can take Swiftolac Syrup. Before using, shake the bottle well.
How it works-
Swiftolac Syrup works by pulling more water into the intestine, causing the stool to soften and become easier to pass. It also lowers ammonia levels in the circulation by eliminating the toxin, which improves cognitive function.
