Unwanted-72 is an emergency contraceptive tablet that helps prevent unintended pregnancy in case of unprotected sex or contraception failure. 

Unwanted-72 Tablet must be taken within 12 hours of unprotected sex or the failure of a contraceptive method, but not later than 72 hours. This medicine may cause side effects such as vomiting, nausea, tiredness, lower abdominal pain, dizziness, headache, diarrhea, and uterine bleeding. Most of these side effects go away over time. However, contact your doctor if the side effects continue to bother you.

Avoid taking Unwanted-72 Tablet if are allergic to it or any of the ingredients. Do not take it if you are already pregnant as it cannot terminate the pregnancy. It is recommended to consult your doctor before taking this medicine if you are breastfeeding as it may enter the breast milk and harm the baby. Unwanted-72 Tablet should not be used if you have an artificial valve in your heart, heart disease such as high blood pressure or high cholesterol levels, asthma, blood clot problems, a bleeding disorder, liver or kidney disease, anemia, salpingitis, or are otherwise malnourished.

Usage Instructions

Take Unwanted-72 Tablet as prescribed by your doctor. You should take Unwanted-72 Tablet with food to avoid stomach upset. Make sure to swallow the whole tablet with a glass of water without chewing, crushing, or breaking it. 

How It Works

It contains levonorgestrel as an active component, which blocks the release of eggs from ovaries or stops sperm from fertilising eggs. It may also change the uterus lining to prevent the development of a pregnancy. This tablet does not have any effect if you are already pregnant.

ALCOHOL

It is unknown whether alcohol can interact with Unwanted-72 Tablet. However, it is better to avoid drinking it while taking Unwanted-72 Tablet.

DRIVING

Unwanted-72 Tablet can affect your driving ability as it can cause drowsiness. Driving or operating machinery should be avoided.

PREGNANCY

The use of Unwanted-72 Tablet during pregnancy or suspected pregnancy is contraindicated. Consult your doctor.

BREASTFEEDING

If you are breastfeeding, you should avoid taking Unwanted-72 Tablet as it may pass through the milk to the baby.
