Ascoril LS Syrup is a combination medication that helps treat cough with mucus. It thins mucus in the nose, lungs, and windpipe, making coughing easier. It also alleviates sneezing, runny nose, itching, and watery eyes.

You can take Ascoril LS Syrup with or without food as prescribed by your doctor. Make sure to continue taking this medication for as long as your doctor suggests. If you stop or discontinue the treatment too early, your symptoms may come back.

Some of the most common side effects are diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, headache, muscle cramp, increased heart rate, and skin rash. Most of these side effects are temporary. This syrup can cause drowsiness, so make sure not to drive or do anything that requires alertness. Do not drink alcohol while using this medicine as it can make sleepiness worse.

Key Ingredients-

  • Ambroxol
  • Levosalbutamol/Levalbuterol
  • Guaifenesin

Usage Instructions-

Take Ascoril LS Syrup in the dose and for the duration prescribed by your doctor. Before using, read the label carefully. Take the syrup by mouth after measuring it with a measuring cup. Shake the syrup well before using it. Ascoril LS Syrup can be taken with or without food, but it is best to take it at the same time every day.

How It Works-

Ascoril LS Syrup contains three medications that treat coughs with mucus: ambroxol, levosalbutamol, and guaifenesin. Ambroxol, a mucolytic, thins and loosens phlegm, making it easier to cough out. Levosalbutamol works by relaxing the airway muscles. Guaifenesin, as an expectorant, reduces the stickiness of mucus (phlegm) and aids in its removal from the airways.

Safety Instructions-

You should not drink alcohol while taking Ascoril LS syrup because it can cause dizziness, drowsiness, and sensory impairment.
