Laveta Syrup is a member of the antihistamine or anti-allergic medication subclass. Levocetirizine, which is included in Laveta Syrup, is an R-enantiomer of cetirizine that is primarily used to treat various allergies. A reaction of your immune system to external chemicals that are often not damaging to your body is called an allergy. 'Allergens' are these alien chemicals. Individuals with allergies may have different symptoms.
