Pentanerv M 300Mg/500Mcg Tablet are part of a class of medications known as "anticonvulsants" that are primarily used to treat post-herpetic neuralgia and different disorders involving nerve pain or injury as well as partial seizures (epilepsy). In epilepsy, aberrant occurrences of seizures and occasionally a loss of awareness or consciousness accompany abnormal brain activity. Nerve injury or other neurological diseases including neuropathy, trigeminal neuralgia, or shingles can result in neuralgia, a persistent pain condition of the nerves.
Usage instructions-
- Read the pack carefully and use as directed by your doctor.
How It Works-
The medication Pentanerv M 300mg/500mcg Tablet contains both methylcobalamin and gabapentin. By regulating the calcium channel activity of nerve cells, the alpha 2 delta ligand gabapentin lessens pain. A kind of vitamin B called methylcobalamin aids in the creation of myelin, which protects nerve fibres and repairs injured nerve cells. They all work to alleviate neuropathic pain, or pain caused by damaged nerves.

- Post-herpetic neuralgia and epilepsy are both treated with Pentanerv M 300Mg/500Mcg Tablet.
- Methylcobalamin, often known as vitamin B12 or mecobalamin, and gabapentin, an anticonvulsant, are also present.
- By attaching to certain locations on voltage-gated calcium channels, gabapentin relieves nerve pain and lowers the likelihood of seizures.
- Methylcobalamin produces a material called myelin, which aids in regenerating and defending injured nerve cells.
- Additionally, it's used to treat diabetic neuropathy and alcoholic neuropathy, both of which cause nerve damage from high blood sugar levels.
