Sensodent-K toothpaste is a dental gel that is used for both adults and children to make protection against painful sensitivity of teeth to cold, heat, acids, sweets, or contact. It contains potassium nitrate as an active ingredient which exerts a desensitizing action.
Potassium nitrate travels into exposed dentin tubules from the tooth surface to reach internal nerves and helps desensitize nerves in the tooth pulp, making them irresponsive to sensory stimuli such as cold water, hot coffee, and so on.
Use Sensodent-K Cream as directed by your dentist. You can consult your doctor if pain or sensitivity persists after 4 weeks of use. Ask your dentist before giving it to children up to 12 years of age.
How to use-
- Apply a minimum 1-inch strip of the product to a toothbrush with soft bristles.
- As directed by the dentist, brush your teeth thoroughly for at least one minute twice daily (morning and evening). Do not brush your teeth more than three times every day.
