- Vidaglo Tablet is a DPP-4 inhibitor. It works by increasing the amount of insulin your body generates after a meal and preventing your body from releasing too much glucose (sugar) into your blood. This decreases your blood glucose levels. Vidaglo Tablet is normally used once a day and has minimal known adverse effects.
- Lowering blood glucose levels is a critical component of diabetes management. If you can keep your blood sugar under control, you will be less likely to develop major diabetic consequences such as kidney damage, eye damage, nerve difficulties, and limb loss. Diabetes management can also minimize the risk of heart disease and stroke.
