Vinsorin Tablet is used to treat diabetes mellitus (also known as type 2 diabetes). Vinsorin tablets work by controlling blood sugar levels in combination with diet and exercise. This helps to reduce the risk of serious complications of diabetes, such as kidney damage and blindness.
Usage instructions-
- It is recommended that you take Vinsorin Tablet at the dose and duration that your doctor tells you to take it. You can have this drug with food or without.
How it works-
Vinsorin Tablet is a diabetes treatment drug. It works by enhancing pancreatic insulin secretion and lowering chemicals that elevate blood sugar levels. This lowers fasting and post-meal sugar levels.
Safety information-
Pregnancy
Vinsorin Tablet is probably not safe to use in pregnancy. There are limited human studies, but animal studies have shown adverse effects on the developing baby. Consult your doctor.
Breastfeeding
It is probably not safe to breastfeed while taking Vinsorin Tablet. There is limited human data suggesting that the drug may enter breast milk and cause harm to the baby.
Alcohol
It is not known whether it is safe or not to take alcohol with Vinsorin Tablet.
Driving
Vinsorin Tablet may impair your alertness, impair your eyesight, or make you drowsy and dizzy. If you have any of these symptoms, do not drive.
Kidney
It is safe for people with kidney disease to take Vinsorin Tablet. You don't need to change your dose.
Liver
The use of Vinsorin Tablet is not recommended for patients with liver disease. Consult your doctor for further information.
Vinsorin Tablet belongs to a class of drugs known as DPP-4 inhibitors. It helps your body produce more insulin after a meal and prevents your body from releasing too much glucose (sugar) into your blood. In this way, it lowers your blood glucose levels.
