Celol Plus Tablet is an oral vitamin D supplement that can be used to treat vitamin D deficiency or insufficiency, refractory rickets, hypophosphatemia, hypoparathyroidism, postmenopausal osteoporosis, hypocalcemia, secondary hyperparathyroidism in chronic kidney disease, mild to severe plaque psoriasis, and other disorders.

How it works-

Celol Plus Tablet includes vitamin D3 in its active form, which binds to and activates vitamin D receptors in the gut, kidneys, parathyroid gland, and bone, boosting intestinal calcium transport and absorption. It also stimulates renal tubular calcium reabsorption and accelerates bone resorption while decreasing PTH levels and improving Ca-phosphate balance. It reduces keratinocyte and T-cell proliferation in the treatment of psoriasis, enabling keratinocyte differentiation and the generation of various inflammatory factors to return to normal.

Pregnancy

Celol Plus Tablet comes in pregnancy category C: Animal reproduction studies have revealed that the medicine has an unfavorable effect on the fetus, and there have been no appropriate and well-controlled human trials, but possible benefits may support the drug's use in pregnant women despite potential risks.

Breastfeeding

Before taking Celol Plus Tablet during breastfeeding please consult your doctor.

Alcohol

Alcohol consumption with Celol Plus Tablet is not advisable.
