Ferikind Tablet belongs to a class of drugs known as 'haematinics,' which are principally used to treat anemia (iron and hemoglobin deficiency). Its insufficiency is caused mostly by a poor diet, poor food absorption, or increased folate usage in the body (during pregnancy). Anemia is a condition in which the body does not have enough red blood cells to transport enough oxygen to all of the body's tissues.

Ferikind Tablet is typically administered at least four weeks before pregnancy and continued for up to three months. If you are pregnant, however, you should consult your doctor before using this medication.
