  • Benefits

Melacare Plus Cream (20Gm) is a mixture of two medications that treat melasma (dark patches on the skin): hydroquinone, mometasone, and tretinoin. Hydroquinone is a skin-whitening medication. It reduces the amount of a skin pigment (melanin), which promotes skin darkening. This effect is reversible. The steroid mometasone inhibits the synthesis of prostaglandins, which are chemical messengers that make the skin red, puffy, and itching.
